Multiple points

Equipment:
Camera: Nikon D300s
Lens 18/135mm
Tripod

Subject: Conkers (Horse Chestnuts)

Set up a still life with a background that is unfussy, Control the composition by rearrangement, not by changing the framing with the camera.
Camera was mounted on a tripod, After experimenting with Flash I decided to use a longer exposure to correctly light the subject. The settings i used remained constant throughout the shoot to try and achieve the same level of lighting consistency all the way through
